Unlike locum tenens, we offer a platform of customizable and full-time surgical solutions designed to efficiently and effectively meet the unique clinical and financial needs of rural hospitals.
Our leadership understands that fiscal constraints often limit rural hospitals’ ability to fully achieve their community service missions. Traditional in-house surgical programs have struggled to align operational costs with community needs. SYBIL B. GEORGE
President / Chief Operating Officer
Sybil George is the President and Chief Operations Officer (COO) Rural Healthcare Solutions. Mrs. George brings a wealth of knowledge to TRSSG as the former COO of the Colon and Rectal Clinic of East Texas and Advanced Surgical Associates of East Texas. With over 7 years of experience in managing the day to day operations of a rural surgery practice, she brings an understanding of practice management, growth, and evaluation.
Sybil’s ability to manage the needs of administration with the equally important needs of surgeons makes her an invaluable leader in RHS. Sybil brings extensive experience in healthcare operations, practice management, program expansion, process improvement and team building.
A married mother of 5 children, Mrs. George enjoys spending time with her family and traveling.
GREGORY D. MCCLAIN, MD
Surgery Consultant
Dr. Gregory D. McClain is the founder of Rural Healthcare Solutions. As a board certified, fellowship trained general surgeon, Dr. McClain has spent the vast majority of his surgery career practicing in rural America. While Dr. McClain’s private practice and academic service setting proved to be extremely rewarding, in 2017 he was called upon to return to his personal passion – providing surgical services in critical access and rural hospitals throughout the US.
In 2018, Dr. McClain was appointed Vice President of Surgical Services of a rural healthcare provider. During his tenure, he developed and implemented a surgicalist program specifically created to address the needs of rural hospitals. Recognizing the overwhelming need for rural surgical solutions, Dr. McClain made the decision to found a surgical solution company developed by surgeons and managed by surgeons – Rural Healthcare Solutions.
Dr. McClain is married and the proud father who enjoys spending time with his family, golfing, and outdoor activities.
